In an effort to improve health outcomes, communication between patients and practitioners and to enhance the overall quality of patient care, Sanford Health Plan would like to provide you with resources and tools to improve cultural and linguistic competence.

NCQA (the National Committee for Quality Assurance) in collaboration with Lilly USA, LLC developed a "Multicultural Health Care: A Quality Improvement Guide". The Guide is available at http://www.clashealth.org/. The Guide was created to promote culturally and linguistically appropriate services and to reduce disparities in clinical care and includes topics such as the steps to quality improvement and a resource library.
