Yoga at the Capitol
Sanford Health Plan is offering free yoga classes throughout June at the Capitol building in Bismarck. You’ll learn new moves to incorporate into your current exercise routine, and possibly find a new favorite fitness activity!
Each week will cover a new yoga topic and the classes are for all skill levels. Attend one or all four sessions!
Introduction to Yoga
What is yoga and why is everyone doing it? Learn yoga basics and how it can promote well-being.
Yoga for Relaxation
Too tired to exercise or too stressed to rest? Practice yoga techniques that reduce stress and promote relaxation.
No time to hit the gym today? Stretch, strengthen, or refocus with exercises as needed at your desk.
Yoga for Energy
Need an energy boost? Focus on muscle groups to reduce pain, build strength and increase mobility.

Class is held in the Observation Tower on the 18th floor of the Capitol building.
Participants should bring a towel or a yoga mat to class. Each class is limited to 20 participants.
